9 Lesson you should learn from doaremon

9 Lesson you should learn from doaremon

1. Technology can solve many of our problems but also can create problems if not used in the right way: In several episodes of Doraemon, he takes out high-tech gadgets from his mysterious pocket and give to Nobita to solve some problem but we know Nobita most of the time create Havoc of not using it in the right way. Nobita has a talent for finding unusual applications for Doraemon's gadgets, which usually gets him into trouble. He was responsible at times. Whatever we do depends on the way how we react to it 90%, and the outside situation holds only 10%.

2. Friends are part of our life: This show righty points out the importance of friends in our life and what the things a true friend must do. Doraemon is very friendly and always support and assist Nobita in his long-sufferings. In the real-life, people usually think of the bad behaviours of others, so if you follow Doraemon’s habits, you will focus on other good points and have better relationship.

3. Society consists of Different types of Person: Society is the term to describe human beings together, as we know now there are different personalities who have different thinking and different approach. If we observe our self than we realize that we already learned this when we were kids by watching this show. Nobita, Shizuka, Gian, Sunio, Dekisugi and Doraemon represent the different elements of our society.

4. Being Rich doesn’t make you happy: One of the important lessons this show taught me is that it’s More Important to Be Happy than to Be Rich. Nobita’s rich friend Sunio often get frustrated to see Nobita and other friends happy despite of having everything that he can use to entertain himself. This thing teaches us that money is just a tool, your goal should be the real happiness that you only achieve with having the right people around you.

5. Past, Present and Future: The future depends on what we do in the present. We cannot go back to change our past, so we change the future by doing today at our best. In one of the episode, Sewashi, who is Nobita’s great-great-grandson from the year 2136, requests that Nobita change his bad habits. If he does not, Nobita will marry Jaiko, Gian’s younger sister. Not only that, Nobita’s future private company will be closed and he will be faced with a financial crisis. From this we learned that we must have to forget the past, stand strongly in the present, and prepare to step confidently for our future.

6. Never Give Up: There are several episodes in which Nobita encounter a big problem but in the end get the success by his never giving up attitude. In one episode, Nobita has a fight with Gian. Nobita confronts and has a brutal fight with Gian to prove that he is able to defend himself without help from Doraemon. He tries many times to fight against him, and finally, Gian admits that Nobita won the fight. Another scene also shows that Nobita never gives up in rescuing Shizuka when she is an adult in the heavy snowstorm. This is a very good message to encourage the kids to always do their best.

7. Accept as you are and improve yourself: This show really teach us the concept of self-realization and accept our self as we are. In real-world, people often compare themselves with others and get depressed about not getting the same thing. Absorb what’s useful; reject the rest. Nobita's character flaws are lazy, uncoordinated, dim-witted, frail, plain-looking, unlucky, and bad at sports. Despite his flaws, Nobita possesses some unique talents such as his unrivalled workmanship and ability to weave intricate string figures. Later Nobita can absorb what’s useful and become Expert in robotics to fix Doraemon, which is shown in the ending of Doraemon.

8. Doraemon’s pocket is a symbol of creativity and Innovation: After completing my engineering, I see the gadgets of Doraemon as an amalgam of innovation and creativity. My approach of thinking has been changed over time, which let me think that we also developing these gadgets over time using innovation and creativity to reduce the problem in the world.

9. We only unleash our true potential when we get out of our comfort zone and have a strong desire to achieve your Goal: If you have seen the ending episode of Doraemon then you can observe the strong zeal and desire of Nobita that made him to get out of his comfort zone and did what no one excepted and build his bright on its own. If you haven’t seen it yet please do watch it.
